Booking An Appointment

We offer the following appointment types:
Eye Test
Please allow upto an hour for this appointment.
Contact Lens Trial
Usually takes about an hour. This allows you to experience contact lenses for the first time. We will check to see if you are suitable then let you wear the lenses for a while before suggesting alternatives and arranging a teach.
Contact Lens Teach
First time wearers or patients who want to swap between soft and rigid lenses need to be taught how to safely insert and remove lenses. We allow about 30 minutes for your first attempt at this, some patient require further visits to master the techniques and most manage to do this.
Once you take lenses we give you 24 hour support with a contact number if you ever need and help or advice. This number is also available to all our other contact lens patients.
Contact Lens Aftercare
This is a routine check-up for our existing lens wearers lasting 15/20 minutes. If you’re new to our practice we ask you to bring your latest glasses prescription (available from your last optician if you need a copy) or to also book an eye examination if you need one. Please also bring your glasses, contact lens case and solution if you use them.
Orthokeratology
Each appointment lasts about 30 minutes. Our aim is to get you seeing without glasses or daytime contact lenses without using surgery. Ask us if your prescription is in range.
